1. When and where is the gala?
The gala will be held on January 31, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. Attendees will be notified of the exact location once they purchase a ticket. Cocktail hour: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM | Program: 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM

2. What is the dress code?
Black-tie formal attire is required. See Attire Guide for details and inspiration.

3. Can my child attend the event with me?
This event is strictly for guests 21 and over.

4. Are tickets refundable?
All ticket purchases are final. However, tickets may be transferred to another person if you are unable to attend. Ticket transfer requests must be submitted via email to info@closeties.org no later than January 23, 2026.

5. Can I purchase multiple tickets or a table?
Yes! You can reserve up to a full table of 10 seats. Table hosts will be asked to provide guest names, entrée selections, and any dietary or accessibility needs after purchase.

6. Can I request to be seated with specific guests?
Yes. You can indicate seating requests during registration. We’ll do our best to accommodate all requests.

7. What meals and drinks are provided?
Each ticket includes a plated entrée and a complimentary drink ticket. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or other dietary considerations can be submitted during registration.

8. Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible. Please inform us in advance of any additional accessibility needs through your ticket submission or via email at info@closeties.org.

9. Is parking available?
Complimentary valet is available on-site.

10. Is my ticket tax-deductible?
A portion of your ticket purchase may be tax-deductible. The tax-deductible amount equals the ticket price minus the fair market value of goods and services received at the event. You will receive specific tax-deductible information on your receipt.

11. Can I make an additional donation?
Absolutely! You can add a donation when purchasing tickets or contribute separately to support Close Ties’ programs.

​

12. Who benefits from this event?
All proceeds support Close Ties Leadership Program, helping young Black boys in Atlanta access mentorship, college and career exposure, and social-emotional support.
